Innovative Custom Homes, Inc. (ICHI) was founded in October 2018 by Chris Bakutis. It emphasizes collaboration and trust between the design team and clients as crucial for successful projects. ICHI focuses on building relationships, listening to client needs, and providing customized, functional, and unique solutions. Being a small firm allows clients to know the team personally, enhancing communication and understanding.
Originally a residential architectural design firm, ICHI specialized in transforming standard houses into unique, personalized homes reflecting clients’ lifestyles. Each design was tailored to individual needs rather than using stock plans. Chris designed many home remodels in downtown Tinley Park, often in conjunction with offers from the Mayor to residents. ICHI also helped families design homes after fire damage.
Over time, ICHI expanded into commercial and interior consulting, becoming a full-service architectural and interior design firm. This diversification has enabled growth and provided a broader range of service
